As part of the work carried out for Oldelval at Fénix Aplicadores SRL, we performed surface preparation tasks using a closed-circuit portable shot blasting machine.

This system allows achieving the highest surface cleanliness standards required for industrial coating systems.

Unlike traditional sand blasting methods, the equipment used operates with metallic shot in a closed circuit, incorporating a recovery and vacuum system, which allows:

• Minimize environmental impact
• Avoid generating abrasive waste
• To ensure a controlled and efficient process

This approach is aligned with the environmental management and operational safety policies that characterize Oldelval

The intervention was part of an engineering project that included changing the diffuser and repairing the floor covering, where surface preparation was a critical factor in ensuring the performance of the protection system.

The use of this type of technology —available in very few companies in the sector— reflects Fénix Aplicadores' commitment to technical innovation, quality of execution and sustainable solutions for the energy industry.
